Your Spiritual Guide

Humble Beginnings

Hello my fellow spiritual pilgrims! My name is Stephanie, founder of Travel Life Collective, or TLC for short. I am passionate about travel and, when invited to do so, helping every soul that crosses my path along their own. Allow me to share a piece of my story. I was once lost and deeply depressed. Something needed to change and it wasn't anyone or anything outside of myself. It was me! I had a goal to learn what it means to be happy and to find peace. I began doing the work, accepting the gifts I already had in front of me, practicing gratitude, and learning different modalities so that I could heal from the inside out. Then, I received a message during a regression hypnosis session. "I am a healer." A title I never would have given myself, but I understood the message. I was meant to help others. This is my gift. It was now time to give it away. How? I have always had a wanderlust that is not easily tamed. I believe life is all about personal connections and experiences. Peace and happiness are gifts we should give ourselves, and often. I find mine within me when I am exploring, connecting to the beauty of this planet, and helping others. I take pleasure in traveling all over the world, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and enjoying the escape from the routine of everyday life. I want to be a part of guiding others, helping them to find what I have finally found... peace!

Holistic Travel

I like to take a holistic approach to travel. Adding the spiritual element to a tour or retreat encourages a one of a kind adventure by incorporating experiences that foster reflection, connection, and deeper meaning. When choosing a spiritual tour or retreat, you want to also choose the right guide. For you to be here, trusting me with your journey, it is an honor that I can't put into words. With extreme gratitude, I invite you to learn more about my own spiritual journey and holistic modalities that will make choosing a destination with me the right one for you!

Modalities & Experience

Past Life Regression - Soul Contact Hypnotherapist

Though Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy has been around for many decades, becoming a formal therapy method in the 1950s, it began much sooner. Most notably used by Edgar Cayce beginning in 1923, However, the belief itself of reincarnation is a philosophy dating back thousands of years. For me, it has been one of my most profound tools in catapulting me forward in my healing journey and in helping others, as it is also what most people are drawn to me for. Past Life Regression Hypnosis can help to access insight by going deep within using induction techniques to reach the natural state known as the trance state. All suggestions made during induction are provided by each client, meaning each client is in 100% control. Just like I am a guide while traveling, I am guide during this inward journey as well. Some will experience memories of past lives which has helped them to understand and heal current life issues. It's often used to explore deep rooted emotional wounds, past traumas, understand current life connections, patterns, and relationships, as well as gain spiritual insights. Our ability to retrieve these memories or insights is accessing what is called the Akashic Records or the library of our soul memories. Something believed to exist in the 8th dimension, only able to be accessed through deep meditative states and/or prayer. I have been certified by my friend and mentor, Peter Woodbury, (accredited through the A.R.E. - Association for Research and Enlightenment). Peter is currently the world's most prolific regressionist today. I have been an active hypnotherapist ever since.

Holistic Life Coach

Your mind, body, and spirit - think of these three as the holy trinity of our very being. It's important to care for not one, but all. Often times we neglect parts of ourselves to stay active in the role we play in this life - the wake, work, eat, sleep, repeat routine. My goal is to help each individual to focus and integrate the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being to achieve their own personal goals. This concept goes beyond traditional coaching by addressing the interconnectedness of these aspects to foster lasting change and overall well-being. Holistic coaching does not and will never replace traditional therapy. However, it can be a great addition to traditional therapy or help aid an individual with transitioning out of therapy. I help guide each person towards their own answers while providing the necessary support for discovering their own emotional and spiritual awareness, discovering inner peace, and by helping to create healthy habits and patterns. This can be achieved with mindfulness practices, meditations, as well as encouraging healthy eating habits and physical activities. This is another modality that I have been certified in by my friend and mentor, Peter Woodbury.

Reiki Master & Teacher

I am an Usui Reiki Master with less than 10 generations between the founder Mikao Usui and myself. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that focuses on directing Reiki or the "universal life force energy" through either gentle touch or remotely through energy and thought to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body's natural healing processes. It is believed that energy flows through and around the body, and that imbalances in this flow can lead to physical and emotional distress. Reiki aims to restore balance and facilitate healing by channeling Reiki energy. Learning Reiki does not make anyone a healer. The Reiki Practitioner is a conduit for the energy to do exactly what it is meant to do and only for those who welcome and are accepting of it. If you think about it, we all have the innate ability to access Reiki energy. Mothers who kiss the skinned knee of their child. It really does make the boo boo feel better. Why? Because of Reiki. Becoming attuned is believed to have an even stronger connection to this energy which can be seen through special photography. Many report feeling more balanced and at peace after a Reiki session.

Certified by Lisa Powers.

I am additionally certified in Dragon Reiki and Crystal Reiki. I am a Master/Teacher in those as well. Usui Reiki, Dragon Reiki, and Crystal Reiki are all forms of energy healing, but they differ in their approach and focus. Usui Reiki is the traditional form, focusing on balancing energy flow in the body through hand placement, while Dragon Reiki incorporates imagery and multidimensional energies to enhance healing. Crystal Reiki uses specific crystals during the session to amplify healing and connect with the earth's energy.

Shamanic Practitioner - 9 Rites of the Munay Ki

The 9 Rites of Munay Ki originated from the Laika Tribe, well known for being the traditional healers and wisdom teachers of Peru, who used these rites as a way to ascend. These practices were kept within their tribe for thousands of years, believed to go back as far as 104,000 years. Until they received a spiritual message to share the rites with everyone, urging humanity to evolve more rapidly. Munay Ki means "love power" in the their old Incan language. The 9 Rites are - Seers Rite, Harmony Rite, Bands of Power, Healers Rite, Daykeepers Rite, Wisdomkeepers Rite, Earthkeepers Rite, Starkeepers Rite, and Creator Rite. These rites, often described as "shamanic", are part of a training system designed to help individuals become more attuned to their intuition and inner wisdom, while also strengthening their connection to the larger world. The 9 Rites extend connect you to the well known 7 chakras, plus two others. The idea is that once these rites are passed to you, they are seeded within. It is up to each individual to grow those seeds. Receiving these rites was a powerful way for me to connect spiritually to all four corners. I enjoyed learning and connecting with the elements and still practice the ceremonies of the Munay Ki today.

Certified by Sharon Ramel

I also hold two other certifications with Sharon.
Master Shamanic Journeying, Ritual, and Ceremony as well as Shamanic Journeying through the Lower, Middle, and Upper Worlds.

Yoga Instructor

Yoga is a Hindu practice that combines physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines. It aims to unite the body, mind, and spirit through various practices, including physical postures, breathing techniques, mediations, ethical principals to encourage self discipline and compassion. I originally was interested in yoga because I knew it would be good for my body. However, after I began my yoga teacher training, I learned the deeper meaning to it and I loved it ten times more! Yoga in Sanskrit means to "join together". The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve a state of inner peace, known as “samadhi,” through the integration of our physical, mental, and spiritual selves. This peaceful state allows us to experience a sense of happiness and contentment that transcends our everyday worries and concerns and taps into pure consciousness. Not only is it possible to do this within ourselves, it is possible to connect equally with nature, as well as the divine. Yoga has also been proven to help with one's overall health and wellbeing.

200 Hour Yoga Trainer by Bodsphere is an International Accredited Authority for Yoga and accredited through Yoga Alliance.  This means that I am also certified and accredited to teach yoga, open studios, or conduct trainings and workshops anywhere in the world.

Qigong Instructor

Qigong is a Chinese practice that combines breathing techniques, mindful movement, and meditation to improve physical and mental well-being. It's based on the principle of cultivating and harmonizing the body's internal energy, known as "qi". Some may think this sounds very similar to Tai Chi. While both Qigong and Tai Chi are related Chinese practices, Qigong is considered the internal or foundational element of Tai Chi, with Qigong focusing on stationary movements and mindful energy cultivation. while Tai Chi involves flowing, dynamic movements. I am sure by now you can see a theme between the modalities I practice. From Reiki, Munay Ki, Yoga, and Qigong, they all have similarities working with energy, but originate from different cultures. Diversity is strength! A group of people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can be more successful than a group that isn't. This is because a diverse group can bring a wider range of ideas, skills, and knowledge on any given problem. This is why I love to learn from different cultures. This also adds a unique flavor (so to speak) to my own practice and style of teaching and leading groups.

Officiant - Universal Life Church Ministries

I am ordained through Universal Life Church (ULC) which is a non-denominational religious organization with millions of members all over the globe. ULC has garnered global recognition for its promotion of universal togetherness and religious expression around the world. By becoming an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church, I have been granted all the rights and privileges afforded to clergy members of other faiths – including the ability to perform legal wedding ceremonies. I believe in equality and am a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. I can also preform baptisms and complete rituals as requested, such as house blessings, smudging practices, or any "clearing of energy" practice that reinstates with the faith or spiritual practices of the client.

Trauma Informed & Certified

I am not a clinician, nor do I diagnose or treat. I hold strict boundaries when it comes to coaching versus therapy or medicine. I apply my training in order to recognize and take into account the potential impact of trauma on an individual's life that I am coaching. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment for clients who have experienced trauma, helping them to understand the effects of trauma, develop coping mechanisms that work for them as an individual, help to build resilience, and guide them in understanding how to promote their own healing from within. This is on the basis of safety, trust, empowerment, collaboration, and sensitivity of diversity by respecting and understanding all cultural backgrounds. Healing comes in all forms and all of us have experienced some level of trauma. I can recognize, empathize, provide the tools, and empower positive change within for each client. Again, only being a guide as everyone is always in charge of their own healing journey. I do work with clinicians and collab with the ISSTD if anyone needs a referral for additional care.

Certified by J. Eric Gentry, PHD's course through Forward Facing Institute.

Why the name Travel Life Collective?

I have always enjoyed the travel life. Including it in the name only seemed fitting for my wandering gypsy soul. Not to mention, the journey we take in self discovery. We are all travelers in this life... spiritual pilgrims, so to speak. Adding the word 'collective' helped me to encompass the idea that we are here to do this together, as a group, as well as the spiritual meaning of the collective consciousness. This helps me bring both worlds together, much in the way I hope to bring everyone together on these spiritual tours and retreats. Additionally, when I noticed that the acronym was TLC, the light came on. It was meant to be, as if my guides were shining a light on my path. I thought, how fitting is that? We all need a little (or a lot) of spiritual TLC (tender loving care) don't we? We are all healing from something and doing our best. This world is such a fast paced machine and we tend to allow it often to weigh us down. It's up to us, collectively, to not just discover peace for ourselves, but to cultivate it, and teach others how to do the same. One person may not be able to change the world, but if we can inspire positive change and growth in one person, the whole world for that one person changes. The goal is to teach everyone to learn to see the world with new lenses. To not just see with your eyes, but see with your soul. To know, understand, and embrace the the true beauty of this life. I believe that travel has the power to transform and enrich our lives, and I'm committed to making it, and spiritual wellness, accessible to everyone.

Travel far enough, you meet yourself.
