Sitting on the bank of the Mediterranean Sea and named after Alexander the Great, uncover the fascinating blend of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian funerary traditions by exploring the subterranean Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, a unique necropolis showcasing the region's multifaceted history.
Admire the the Qaitbay Citadel, a historical fortress strategically situated on the Alexandria coastline, offering a glimpse into the region's defensive heritage. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Alexandria by strolling along the Corniche, a waterfront promenade providing panoramic views and a chance to soak in the city's coastal charm. Then, relax on the private Stanley Beach, a popular spot near Alexandria's city center, accessible via the iconic Stanley Bridge before returning to Giza for dinner.

Red Sea Post Tour Extension

Stay in Hurghada with its pristine waters of the Red Sea. You can relax on a morning cruise along the coast. You’ll have plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling where you’ll see coral reefs and vibrantly colored fish, turtles, eels, and stingrays as you hop between islands and be served lunch. You can enjoy a leisurely afternoon to relax or explore by taking a trip to the old town of El Dahar for Egyptian coffee or a souk (Egyptian market) where you can practice your haggling skills before gathering with your fellow travelers for the evening dinner.

White Desert Extension:

The Black and White Desert in Egypt is somewhat of a hidden gem in Egypt, unknown by most tourists. The landscape of the Bahariya Oasis and surrounds is both unique and breathtaking. Crystals will shimmer in the sun during the day making the landscape a beautiful and magical scene to witness. The gorgeous white sands may appear similar to snow glistening. You can have fun spotting natural rock formations and comparing them to animals as if nature has designed statues in the desert that have been naturally shaped by the wind over millions of years. The White Desert also features other unique rock formations, including the White Rock balancing on a pole. We will visit Crystal Mountain where you can enjoy collecting crystals. At night, you will enjoy an uninterrupted view of the vast night sky, untouched by light pollution. You can star gaze while sipping on tea before calling it a night. If you don’t sleep in, you can wake up to catch a once in a lifetime view of the sun rising over the white sands before packing up and heading back to Cairo.

Things you need to know:

• Note your arrival days. Depending on where you are traveling from, which country, and whether you are going to have connecting flights and layovers, you will need to leave the day before (at minimum) to arrive in Cairo on your arrival day. 
• Travel insurance is highly recommended.
• Must have passport that does not expire within three months of travel.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to join this tour.
• Must be able to walk and climb at least 2 flights of stairs. Many of the sites require walking at steep angles or descending into tight spaces at angles.
